31 15. Get2DCU Get2DCU is an android application built using flutter and firebase designed for students over the age of 18 who travel to DCU but don’t have access to a car of their own or an efficient formof public transport. The app provides students with the opportunity to quickly and safely travel to college saving them time andmoney on a daily basis. The main objective is to incorporate gold into the working electrode as a means of attracting the E.coli onto the surface. Electrochemical techniques are then used to characterize the reactions on the surface of the electrode during each stage of development. These results can then be used to determine the presence and concentration of E.coli in a sample. This project was created to allow users to have a navigation application that is user-friendly and simplistic in nature. It combines features such as text-to-speech, togglable large-direction displays, speed-limit displays, and time estimation on routes to allow users able to coordinate and plan their trips in advance.
