Modelling of Phase Transformations This project investigates materials undergoing phase transformations and how they can be mathematically modelled using a combination of fractional calculus and rheological models. The model will be fit onto real-world experimental data and will be represented on Bode Plots. Understanding what is happening structurally tomaterials undergoing phase transformations is important in many different industries, understanding how amolten hot plastic solidifies in an injection mould can be the difference between a perfect product and an inadequate one.
