This is done by creating these lattice structures through a CAD application called Solidworks and printing them in 3D. Some of these lattice structures may be in different states for example a heat-treated state before they go through a compression test so that the load-bearing capabilities of various lattice structures in different states can be compared. Some of the lattice structures are coated with copper nanoparticles to investigate the mass of the structures after copper nanoparticle deposition.
